My payday is on friday, because funds will not be in the corporate acct till monday, they are holding our paychecks till monday. Can they hold them?

Please let us know because of a legal situation in our corporate offices this paycheck holding may be happening more frequently than not after this point. anything we can do?

    • Probably not much, if anything, as Ohio has NO laws that require an employer to pay on a certain frequency within a certain amount of time following the end of the pay period.

Oh, what you CAN do is to find an employer who can pay his employees on the stated pay date. Seriously, if this has happened more than once, the company is in financial trouble and you can expect it to keep happening.
