Is there a law that states an employer should get a break after working so many hours in a day? If so how long before they get a break and how long should it be?

- Only eight states require rest breaks. Meal breaks are required by a number of states.

- From what I see, only eight of the fifty states mandate breaks.
Idaho is not one of those.
You could change that.
Contact your elected representatives.
